Tamara's passion for realism in traditional and modern portraiture shows in her work. She takes her inspiration from American, European and Russia influences. But her art is also influenced by her life. Through many life adversities living in the Soviet Union she learned to find the positive in any situation. As Tamara would put it: "It does not matter who I paint, I am so grateful. And I see the beauty in each face and share that with you, the viewer."
Born and raised in Siberia, Russia, Tamara began painting at a very young age. As a teenager she took formal studies at the Siberian Art School of old Masters and received a Master's Degree in Education at University of Russia. Since moving to the United States, she has continued her art studies in workshops with many leading artists. She is a Signature Member of the National Society of Artists and has received many national and international awards for her work.
Tamara's work hangs in many private collections around the world.
She makes Las Vegas, Nevada her home but sells her work around the the world. In addition to prints, she takes private commissions to do portraits and has published several DVD workshops that also have an active worldwide following.
