IP Notification 4.6 Multilingual | MacOSX | 6 Mb
IP Notification is a handy Mac OS X application which can keep track of your computer’s internal and external IP addresses and notify you when it changes. The app can alert you in several ways when the IP changes, such as sending emails, opening websites and through the command line.
Upon launching IP Notification, it displays your internal and external IP addresses in its main window, but also in a menu bar panel. The advantage of having a menu bar panel is that it offers quick access to your IP addresses and to the app’s GUI and enables you to copy the IP addresses to your clipboard with just a click.
Furthermore, the application can automatically refresh the IP addresses at a custom interval. Moreover, it displays the addresses in a column where you can also view the last time they were updated. The time before refreshing the IPs can be viewed at the bottom of the window, but you can also manually refresh them, too.
As mentioned before, the IP Notification app provides 3 types of notifications. The first one enables you to configure the email addresses of the sender and recipient, to customize the message body and to test the message.
The second option can be used to open the changed IP address in a website of your choice. An additional option is to test the URL. Moreover, the third notification type allows you to set a path and modify the arguments for the CLI tool you want to use.
All things considered, IP Notification is a reliable and quite easy-to-use OS X utility that can immediately show your current internal and external IP addresses. It makes easy to copy them to your clipboard and notifies you when the addresses are changed through multiple mediums.
