Destruction FX is one of Houdini’s strongest features, but it’s easy to get stuck when art directing simulations. Often times we can’t rely on simple collisions to achieve the look that we are after.

Compositing Magic
Separate layers using AOVs, create a dedicated glowing layer for the crystal’s interior, and add depth-of-field effects. Learn best practices for compositing and solve common challenges.
